From in the early eighties decade in Kingston Jamaica, reggae dancehall music arose out of a response to the popularity of traditional reggae. Initially, it was defined by MCs toasting on top of instrumental tracks, quickly changing into a distinct mix of electronic sounds, driving beats, and often raw lyrics. This genre saw further development wit
